More about Matt & JuneSteady, fiscally responsible leadership for Montville Township.
Over the past eight years, municipal budget increases have averaged less than 2% a year — while Montville kept its AAA S&P bond rating and secured more than $7.9 million in grants.
Years of persistent work have transformed the Route 46 corridor, bringing new restaurants, dealerships, and stores that strengthen the tax base and ease the burden on homeowners.
State affordable-housing mandates have driven most of Montville’s new residential development. Matt and June are working to manage the pace and scale of that change and protect the character of our neighborhoods.
Common-sense investments that save money and protect the environment: hybrid and electric township vehicles, LED lighting, energy audits, and solar on our schools before it was commonplace.
